The Big Fat Website Guy: Who Is Will Dentten?
Will’s the guy who’s not afraid to take up space, both physically and metaphorically. Whether that be in a room or in your website strategy meeting. He’s the first to crack a joke, the last to leave a networking event, and the sort of person who loves meeting new people and being remembered as the friendly guy that helps people with their websites.
That’s why he’s taken on the name "The Big Fat Website Guy", because he’s a big lad that wanted something memorable to go by. Something that stuck in people’s minds. He’s the guy you call when you need a new website that works wonders for your business. Let's find out a bit more about him.
Hampshire to Oxfordshire
Will grew up in Horndean, a quiet village in Hampshire where he lived with his mum and dad. Growing up, Will loved playing football, watching football, and playing football video games, so quite a lot of football. Rather than take the A Levels route, Will wanted to go down the more vocational route, instead opting for a Film and TV diploma, where he discovered his passion for marketing.
In April 2022, Will moved up to Witney, and is now heavily involved in the local area, attending many networking events, and running a football group called XL Footy Witney.
A Web Guy Who Knows His Stuff
Before Test Valley Digital, Will worked his way through the marketing world, cutting his teeth in web agencies, tech startups, marketing tech platforms, and just about every kind of digital experience you can think of. That experience gave him a real understanding on what makes businesses tick and what makes websites fail.
Now at Test Valley Digital, he’s the frontman for helping businesses getting started with making websites that are clean, clear, fast, and actually do the job they’re supposed to. Whether he’s providing friendly advice to local business owners, or bringing in new clients to Test Valley Digital, Will’s your go-to when it comes to getting your site sorted.
The Man Behind XL Footy Witney
Outside of Test Valley Digital, Will is very proud to have set up XL Footy Witney, a football group for overweight and unfit men, built with the help of the amazing Witney Vikings FC. It’s become a brilliant way for locals lads to get moving, meet people and have a bit of a laugh.
A Proper Spurs Fan
We hope this doesn't put you off, but Will is a massive Tottenham Hotspur fan. And yes, he’s heard all the jokes, but that doesn’t stop him backing his team with a ridiculous amount of optimism every season under the delusion they will win a trophy.
One day, Will, one day.
Dachshund Dad, Through and Through
Outside of work, Will’s known for being a proud dachshund dad. His miniature black and tan sausage dog, Ernie, is always close by (and probably barking at something). Will also had another dachshund, Ernie's brother Otis, a red who he lost at the start of 2025.
Cooking, Curry, and Cultural Roots
Will’s love for cooking runs deep, particularly Indian food, thanks to his Indian heritage. He’s the kind of guy who’ll spend hours perfecting a curry, just to see the look on someone’s face when they taste it. His motto when it comes to food is that you should “Only trust a fat person when it comes to restaurant recommendations.” And honestly, he’s not wrong.
Proper Music Only, Please
He’ll listen to a bit of everything, but ask Will what he really loves and he’ll say: “Proper music.” We’re talking The Eagles, Queen, Pink Floyd, music that took proper skill to create. If it was made in the 70s or 80s, it’s probably on one of his playlists.
Hidden Talents (Because Why Not?)
Want to really impress Will? Ask him to solve a Rubik’s Cube, he’ll do it in under two minutes. Or test his memory, he knows Pi to 21 decimal places. Don’t ask him why, though. He just does, it's about as useful as the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium trophy cabinet.
